Hi! I'm Michelle. I'm glad you found me...

I'm the owner and lead designer of Something's Blooming. I am native to the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles and a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

Becoming a floral designer was definitely not my plan right out of college, but finding my way into floral design has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I love taking one idea, theme or inspiration image and finding ways to reinvent and reinfuse it into every element and every design of an event.

I lead the team at Something's Blooming and I alway have a hand in every design we create. From adding that extra special touch in selecting the most unique and unexpected flowers, utilizing my expertise in color theory to create analogous color palettes, to communicating the shape, texture and overall design aesthetic for every design made in the studio and onsite. I make sure every element is executed as planned to perfection. And I'm always there throughout the whole process to guide you and help answer whatever questions come up along the way.

The perfect fit for me are couples who value art, beauty and creativity. I connect easily with like-minded people who are down-to-earth, kind, inquisitive and easy to talk to.

We create truly exquisite and unique wearables for your wedding day or special event. Our intricate designs can be found through our floral tattoos (pictured above), floral jewelry, pocket square boutonnieres, lapel pieces, corsages and our not-so-standard boutonnieres.
