Hi, I’m Michelle—floral designer, artist, and your soon-to-be wedding flower bestie.

I’m the owner and creative director of Something’s Blooming, based in Los Angeles and serving couples who love artful, garden-inspired floral design. My journey into floristry wasn’t exactly planned, but it turned out to be one of the greatest joys of my life. With a background in entertainment, celebrity personal assisting, and jewelry design, I’ve always been drawn to anything creative, but it wasn’t until I planned my own wedding that I truly fell in love with flowers and all the many things I could create with them! That moment sparked something in me, leading to an entirely new chapter in my life—one where I get to bring ALL the aspects of my creative side and blend it with my love of storytelling to bring something truly special to others lives.

As a proud member and supporter of the LGBTQIA++ community, and the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging for the Wedding Industry Professionals Association of Southern California, connection and understanding is everything to me. I don’t just design flowers—I get to know you. I want to hear all about you, love story, your vision. and dreams for your day, and all the little details that make your wedding uniquely yours. Designing your florals is a deeply personal collaboration, and I love working with couples who value creativity, trust the process, are down-to-earth and get just as excited as I do about the possibility of unexpected floral moments.

At Something’s Blooming, every design is intentional. From thoughtfully curated color palettes to the perfect balance of texture and movement, I approach florals like an artist approaches a canvas—infusing meaning, emotion, intention and a touch of the unexpected. Whether it’s an immersive floral installation, a delicate floral tattoo (yes, I make them, you have to see them!), or a bouquet that feels like it was plucked from one of your dreams, my goal is to craft florals that feel like you.

We create exquisite, one-of-a-kind floral wearables for your wedding day or special event. From delicate floral tattoos (captured above) to intricate floral jewelry, pocket square boutonnieres, lapel pieces, and corsages that feel like jewelry, our designs are anything but standard! Even our boutonnieres are crafted as little works of art for your jacket lapel, making every detail feel intentional and unique. The possibilities are endless with wearable flowers that are truly custom made to your needs.
